Hunting Packages

   Trophy Elk Hunting and Trohy Mule Deer hunting are our specialty.  Properly managed private ranches provide the best opportunity to harvest such a trophy. This, combined with the best Elk and Deer Hunting guides in the business, makes Powder Horn Outfitters a step above the rest!

Powder Horn Outfitters offers quality guided elk hunts in Wyoming for both rifle and archery. We harvest mature bulls with some scoring over 350 B&C.   Rifle hunts for wyoming mule deer and elk are in October.  Wyoming archery elk hunting  is done the latter part of September. We also offer mule deer rut hunts in Montana during November as well as Wyoming whitetail. 

Our goal at Powder Horn Outfitters is to provide the best opportunity for hunters to harvest trophy western big game on their hunt. Also, being comfortable, not only in the camp, but with the people running the operation is crucial for an enjoyable and memorable hunt. All of the hunts are 5 full days of hunting. We do have 1-on-1 hunts for an extra fee of $500.00. An additional person in the hunting party that is not hunting will be charged $300.00 per day.

Rifle elk hunts       5 day   $6000* Trophy fee for bulls over 340"    B & C      

Archery elk hunts  6 day   $6000         

Rifle deer hunts     5 day   $3800

Mountain Lion       6 day   $4000

Booking Fee      We require a $1000.00 booking fee to hold a place in one of our hunting camps.  If you are not successful in the license draw, we will fully refund the $1000.00 booking fee at that time. Deposits      If you are successful in drawing a license, the $1000.00 will be put toward the 50% deposit which is required. Once the 50% deposit has been received by Powder Horn Outfitters, you will then be given dates of when the hunt will take place. The balance of the hunt fee will be paid upon arrival at Powder Horn Outfitters. There are different seasons for each animal hunted, so make sure you check this when you make your reservation.
